The ROCC Culinary
Symposium’s Mission:
To provide the best
educational day of intense instruction and presentations with nationally
acclaimed presenters in the magnificent setting of the River Oaks Country Club.

River Oaks Country Club in Houston,
TX. Come and enjoy a blockbuster, action packed
day filled with nationally acclaimed Chefs and motivational speakers. Limited

Come and enjoy a full day of fantastic speakers, continental breakfast, wonderful luncheon buffet,
and a spectacular reception with live music and culinary competitions with cash prizes.
Hands on Chocolate Workshop presented by Chef Darrin Aoyama CEPC, Pastry Chef of the Year and 2nd
in the world pastry team at the Culinary Olympics 2004 Erfurt, Germany. Chef
Darrin will demonstrate a variety of basic chocolate techniques. Students will
have the opportunity to work with the chocolate and three-dimensional floral
designs which will be incorporated into a centerpiece. This workshop will be
limited to the first twelve Chefs. $100.00 registration for class.

kitchen, bakeshop, purchasing areas, and the candid catering system used at the
club will be available.
